A4 presets use exact print math: 210×297 mm at 150/300 DPI.

How to resize an image

  1. Choose your image. Drop it on the zone above. The tool shows its original dimensions.
  2. Pick a preset or type pixels. One click sets A4 at 150 or 300 DPI, Full HD, 4K, square or story sizes — or enter any custom width and height.
  3. Keep the aspect lock on (recommended) so the image never stretches; the other dimension updates automatically.
  4. Press "Resize & download". Your browser resamples the image with high-quality smoothing and downloads the result.

Pixel sizes, explained

🖨️ A4 at 300 DPI = 2480×3508

The gold standard for sharp prints in Europe. A4 at 150 DPI (1240×1754) is fine for drafts and everyday documents.

📺 Screens: 1920×1080

Full HD covers most wallpapers, presentations and video thumbnails. 4K (3840×2160) for large displays.

📱 Social sizes

1080×1080 square for feed posts, 1080×1920 vertical for stories and reels — both are one-click presets above.

⚠️ Don't upscale too far

Shrinking is always safe. Enlarging more than ~2x from the original gets blurry — start from your largest source file.

Resize Image FAQ

What size is A4 at 300 DPI in pixels?

A4 (210 × 297 mm) at 300 DPI is 2480 × 3508 pixels. At 150 DPI it is 1240 × 1754 pixels. Both presets are built into the tool — one click sets the exact size.

How do I keep the aspect ratio?

Leave "Lock aspect ratio" checked (it is on by default). Then changing the width automatically updates the height so your image never looks stretched.

Does resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller is safe and looks crisp. Enlarging beyond the original size can look blurry because the browser has to invent pixels — for big prints, start from the largest original you have.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser using the canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
